Yes. You can easily connect all common payment methods (e.g., PayPal, etc.). It is advisable to offer your donors different payment options so that their preferred method is available. Donors expect a process as convenient as they are used to from online shops.
FundraisingBox is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) tool that you use in your browser. All the data you enter is stored in certified data centers in Germany. These centers ensure maximum security at the digital level and also enforce strict physical access policies. Additionally, the server operators have highly secure backup systems and stringent dual authentication procedures. In exceptional cases (such as very high load), the system can leverage server capacities in Europe.

FundraisingBox uses the latest technologies and banking-grade methods to encrypt your data while it is transmitted to and from the platform. This includes using SSL and TLS protocols. What was the goal?

Misereor aimed to eliminate different SEPA processes and the associated data silos. The goal was to automate manual payment processes as much as possible.

How did we achieve this?

Together with Misereor, FundraisingBox implemented a unified SEPA infrastructure for all online and offline direct debits. Existing standing orders were successfully migrated from a third-party system, and all direct debits were fully automated.
